The company has been present in the Niger Delta since the late 1950′s and 600 billions of earned dollars later they are still taking advantage of people that do not have the strength to defend themselves. Unfortunately, the Nigerian regime is not doing anything to protect their citizens against this giant, because they profit from Shell’s abuse.
The people in the Niger Delta is suffering in any possible way both mentally and bodily, with addition of extreme poverty. Many of the poor souls cannot earn their and their family’s living, because their land/workplace is devastated by Shell’s crimes.
It is not just that they abuse the land and people, they do not take the responsibility for their actions. They do not clean up after accidents and they do not pay any reparation to the victims.

This treatment of the land and people of Nigeria is of course not something that we can accept. Therefore, I would like to ask you as a consumer to take action:
If you usually buy gasoline or other products at a Shell-station, please consider stop doing that. It would also be helpful if you stop at a Shell-station and tell them why you do not shop at their station.

Anledningen till att jag kontaktar dig är fallet med Mohammadreza
Hamedian Esfahani, en iransk asylsökande, som har sökt skydd I Sverige
från förföljelse av den islamiska republiken Iran (fall nr.
11-084450/11). Esfahani är konverterad till kristendom genom dop och för
detta har han blivit dömd för ”hädelse” och ”krig mot Islam”. Han har
fått ett straff som omfattar 75 piskrapp och 10 års fängelse för sin

Mohammadreza Esfahani har också varit öppet aktiv i protester mot
islamiska republikens regim, vilket han också riskerar att bli fängslad
för. Dessutom så är den iranska regimen om vad som händer utomlands med
exil-iranier. Du själv har konstaterat i ett uttalande att ”Det är
tydligt att den iranska regimen sedan presidentvalet 2009 året
ytterligare skärpt tonen mot oppositionella. Regimen har både vilja och
förmåga att i stor utsträckning övervaka sina medborgare även
utomlands.” Hans deltagande i demonstrationer i första ledet, som har
spridits i olika medier, gör självklart att den iranska regimen har koll
på Esfahanis ”brott” mot den islamiska regimen. En dokumentation om hans

Mohammadreza Esfahanis fall uppfyller åtminstone ett viktigt kriterium
som är satt för att man ska anses vara en flykting som behöver skydd i
ett annat land och det skulle därför vara illegalt om Sverige sänder
tillbaks honom till Iran. Artikel 33 i Flyktingkonventionen från 1951,
ger oss en mycket viktig riktlinje. Ingen stat som har signerat
konventionen ska inte sända någon individ tillbaks till ursprungslandet
om den personen riskeras att förlora sitt liv eller bli hotade på grund
av sin ras, religion, nationalitet, medlem av en specifik social grupp
eller politisk åsikt.
Sverige har signerat denna viktiga konvention och de medföljande
protokollen, vilket innebär att Sverige är erfordrade att följa dessa.
Detta grundar sig i den internationella rätt som inte Sverige kan avtala
sig bort ifrån, vilket betyder i sammanhanget att Sverige ska respektera
en flyktings oförnekliga rätt till asyl, skydd och inte tvångsavvisa dem
tills sina ursprungsländer.

Därför kräver jag:
Att Sverige omedelbart stoppar den illegala återsändningen av
Mohammadreza Hamedian Eshafani;
Att Sverige omedelbart stoppar återsändningen av medmänniskor som är
homosexuella, kristna, regimkritiker mm. till Iran.

The web-site’s main mission is to point out the problems with immigrants that comes to Sweden. Indirectly, they tell us that they only are here for the nice social welfare (they give birth to as many as possible to get more money) and that they provide for themselves and their families by stealing. Furthermore, they try to tell us that Islam is a dangerous religion and that they are all terrorists. I could go on with this forever, but I do not want to give up more space for their tragic ideology. It is sad for a country such as Sweden, that this site is up and running. But, there is one thing that is even more sad regarding Avpixlat.
The web-site has links (both direct (physical links) and indirectly) to the Swedish Democrats, a racist Party of the Swedish Parliament, as well as one of their Member of Parliament. I get anxious when a web-site such as this have the right to spread its propaganda by the help of a party of the Swedish Parliament. Terrible flashbacks hits me from the 1930′s Germany, when the evil Nazi-regime started their hunt against the Jews and other non-arian people. I can hear the march of intolerance in the distance and it makes me worried for my fellow human beings sake.

I defend the right to express yourself. But this is not a web-site that is there to joke about our differences, it is a serious threat to our society and I really would love to see it closed. Maybe someone with a good heart and nice technical skill could send them a Trojan that would end their mischievous deeds.

This weekend I met a lot of freedom-seeking exile-Syrians at a manifestation against the brutal regime in Syria on a square in the town of Malmoe, Sweden. It was a peaceful manifestation, as the ones that is taking place on similar squares in similar towns in Syria. I talked to people that had fled Syria 30 (!!!) years ago and that never had seen some of their family members.
During the manifestation I was also told that the regime of Syria’s embassy is harassing the exiled Syrians that is living in Sweden. For example, this autumn, the regime’s agents harassed and stopped people from protesting against a deportation of an asylum-seeker at the International airport in Stockholm. Many people that I am surrounded by during the manisfestation are targets for the Syrian regime and have received threats pointed at them, but also against their family members still in Syria. The Syrian embassy is of course denying that they have anything to do with the threats. Although, in seven other countries the Syrian embassies have been accused of similar actions against exile-Syrians and Amnesty says that this is probably taking place in other countries as well.

Is this something that I want to take place in my country? No, of course not.

Therefore, I have put together a letter to the Swedish government, urging them to close the Syrian embassy and deport the staff. The reason for me contacting You, is the situation for many exile-Syrians in Sweden. It has come to my knowledge that the Syrian embassy in Sweden, by the help of Syrians faithful to the regime in Sweden, is harassing Syrians in Sweden. They have threatened them and their relatives in Syria with death if they continue struggle for freedom in their country. It is not acceptable to use their diplomatic cards in this way and this must end. The treatment by the Syrian regime against its citizens in Syria is of course not acceptable either.

Therefore, I urge Your government to work towards a:

The problem for the asylum-seekers is that it is not a conflict that is taking place in Syria. The Migration Board of Sweden is giving asylum to people if there is an ongoing conflict and not, as in the matter of Syria, if it is only the regime that is fighting against peaceful demonstrators. Heartbreaking news reach us every day and reports says that up to 6000 people have lost their lifes in the brutality since March 2011. These news do not affect the Swedish migration-politic and that is something that should be considered a crime against humanity.

Therefore, I would like to urge you my dear reader to take action on this matter by sending the letter below to:

It is with great concern for the safety asylum-seekers from Syria that I contact You. The situation in Syria is critical, because of the actions by the brutal Assad-regime. Aproximately 6.000 fellow human beings have been killed by government forces since March 2011 (probably more) and unfortunately, day for day, we add even more.
Many of those that have fled Syria and that is trying to find a sanctuary in Sweden, is probably dissidents. If they go back they will be imprisoned, tortured or shot.

Therefore, I urge You to:
halt the deportations of asylum-seekers from Syria;

halt deportations to other insecure areas of the world (Iraq, Afghanistan etc.)

In the aftermath of the earthquake, many countries told the world that they would provide Haiti with economic support, enough to battle the problem with the infrastructure, healthcare and more. We are not talking thousands of dollars, we are talking millions that were promised to help Haiti to get back on the track. Apart from the millions of dollars promised for the urgent need, there must be an investment in the development of human rights as well. Human rights is violated on a regular basis and often it is the woman that pay the price. I am also, on a regular basis, reached by devastating news that the healthcare is still poor and that thousands of Haitians still is living in shelters, amongst other acute issues.

There must be some protocol from the meeting at UN, when the countries decided to support Haiti, telling us how much each country promised to give to help rebuild the country.
Because I wonder and many with me:
What happened with the promised money?
Which countries have paid?
Who is the “bailiff” that will remind/force the non-payers to open their wallets?

Therefore, I would like to ask the world for a monitoring mechanism on this matter. The mechanism must work with the above mentioned and other relevant questions. If we introduce this, countries that will be affected by natural disasters in the future, will be back in the world economy faster and it will benefit us all.

Finally, we must help the countries keep their promises, otherwise it will affect the credibly of the whole International Community.

A couple of weeks ago, the American soldier Bradley Manning stood trial in an American court, because the international law (read American law) tells us that he committed a crime. The “crime” he “committed”, is that he provided an unauthorized source with classified material that could hurt the US as a country. There are about 22 charges against him of which one is “supporting the enemy” (just like in the movies about the Cold War). Well, maybe it is true that the information that reached the unauthorized source, has damaged the US as a country from the foreign policy point of view, but through my eyes his action has helped many individuals, either already affected or maybe could be affected if the US undisturbed could have accomplish its “kind deeds”. There is no doubt that from the sensible individual’s point of view, he has made an effort for the humanity.

It is a disaster that individuals, that is doing a helluva admirable work in the service for humanity, is getting imprisoned and ends up in a court. The case of Manning is on the international level, but what happens when similar things end up at the national level? Will you, as a social worker, risk imprisonment when you leave information to a third part about human rights abuses in the social service. Will this lead to a system that you get rewarded if you report someone that is whistle-blowing about abuses to the world? It will be a disaster for our well-fare if this kind of scenario would become reality.
The US is a sovereign state and is doing whatever they can to protect their right to imprison a “traitor”, but it does not mean that it is right from the moral and ethical perspective. A fellow human being must have the possibility to act against human rights abuses and be able to forward information that is containing proof about the abuses.

Therefore must:
The world’s leading society provide us with a resolution that give individuals immunity from being imprisoned and punished for making us aware about human rights abuses;
The United States of America release soldier Maninng immediately.

Detta meddelande gäller självklart alla mina medmänniskor som riskerar att avvisas till landet som fortfarande är i lågor. En av dessa medmänniskor är 50-årige Raed Jameel som för tillfället fördriver sin tid som allt i allo i en butik. Raed Jameel arbetade vid Rättsrådet i Bagdad i Irak, innan han var tvungen att lämna sin fru och fly undan döden. Att tillhöra Rättsrådet innebar en jättestor risk och han blev hotad flera gånger till döden, ett hot genomfördes genom att de sprängde en bil som tillhörde familjen i luften.
Alla människor som förstår hur svårt det är att bryta upp från någonting, kan sätta sig in i den fruktansvärda dilemma som det innebär att lämna sin fru och familj. Detta har dock inte Migrationsverket någon förståelse för, eftersom de ställer sig frågande till varför det tog 4 månader efter sista hotet innan Raed lämnade Bagdad. Hade inte du eller jag gjort vad som helst för att kunna stanna så länge som möjligt innan vi lämnar vår älskade? Nu hör det också till saken att efter nu flera år efter att han lämnat Bagdad, kommer personer som vill honom illa och frågor efter honom. Det är denna osäkra värld som Migrationsverket vill kasta Raed tillbaks till.

Därför uppmanar jag de svenska myndigheterna att:
Lyssna till de irakiska myndigheternas vädjan att inte avvisa individer till Irak;

Ge de irakier som nu riskerar avvisning permanent uppehållstillstånd.

The working class-writer went to France to find happiness, work and in some way himself, through the life as a vagabond. In some way, he did find those things, but he also found an environment that was not favoring the vagabond-life he yearned for. He was harassed by the police, because he lacked the paper that was expected to be found on a stranger. It is in the last sentence you also will be able to found similarities with the nation France of today.

In the less powerful France of today, an alien has a reason to keep a low profile, especially if you are a member of the Roma community. The unfriendliness that is shown against these peace-seeking human beings is well under the international standard for a humane behavior. The Roma community is often evicted from the place they thought start a new life and deported from the country.

Human Rights Watch has a 19-page briefing paper that details the way in which a new immigration law, enacted in June 2011, falls well short of complying with France’s obligations under EU freedom of movement rules and international human rights law. Furthermore, it is not just a violation against the Roma community itself. The losers in this mischievous game that France is playing, are of course the children. This action will only estrange the Roma community all over the world.

When the population Sweden voted last year, the seated government stayed in power and that was unfortunate for the people that are living their life on the outskirts of the society. However, even more devastating was that a political party with racial and discriminatory agendas was welcomed into the Swedish Reichstag. That was a knuckle in the face of all of us that love a society filled with multitude and the right for people to love whom ever they want no matter gender. It was a gigantic blow at the democracy’s plea and maybe the regulation of the reichstag should be changed so that parties such as this cannot enter. But hopefully this will change ’til the next election, because I believe that they only got their seats through discontent of the other parties.

A couple of weeks ago, the above mentioned racial party had its annual meeting and for the first time it was transmitted through the Swedish national channels. They got a chance to try to show that they are not a racial party and they unfortunately somewhat succeeded, even if the enlightened Swede read between the lines. This is yet another point that is giving them some kind of sanctuary in the political parlor and it is also something that is providing fuel to the discussion about the problem with today’s democracy.

Finally, as we yesterday celebrated the Nobel Prices’ laureate in Stockholm and Oslo, the democracy reached an anticlimax. The Swedish authorities showed poor judgment when they, at the same day, allowed a Nazi demonstration in Stockholm. The ones that was responsible for the demonstration also showed a lack of respect for this day. However, the thing that really pulled the plug for me, was that it is allowed for these kind of inhuman organizations to carry out a demonstration in my country.

As I mentioned earlier, I defend the democracy that is filled with good ethical and moral values, with human rights on the top.

Although, I would like to see these changes in the 3 discussions above:

• A racial party cannot be invited in the highest deciding body in Sweden, even if the votes is telling us so;

• The National television in Sweden, should not allow a transmission from annual meetings or other official meetings arranged by a racial party or likewise;

• The Swedish authorities cannot allow demonstrations arranged by immoral, racial or other organizations that has a bad influence on the population.

I understand that the way I reason here is probably disparaging the rights of the people that voted on the racial party, but that was not my intention. I just want to make the world aware about the mischievous elements that can dissimulate itself by the help of democracy.
